How much does it cost to get pierced?
The price of getting a piercing varies depending upon the placement and jewelry selected. Since we offer a wide variety of jewelry options, we suggest coming in to talk about accurate pricing.
Do you also tattoo?
We are a piercing only studio so we do not offer tattoo services, but Spidermonkey Tattoos is located right next door to us and they have many great artists!
Do you sell all the aftercare products I’ll need?
Yes we do! For cleaning we recommend only using sterile saline solution. We have this available in our popular 6oz spray can but also in a smaller 3oz can for clients ready to travel.
When do you have piercers available?
We have a scheduled piercer on staff every day of the week, with the exception of the holidays in which we are closed (Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter).
Can I bring in my own jewelry to be pierced with?
For the health and safety of your piercing, we do not pierce with jewelry purchased outside the studio. All initial jewelry is of quality materials, pre-sterilized to be used for your procedure.
If I'm under 18 can someone other than my parent sign for me to get a piercing?
Generally, no. If another adult has current Power of Attorney over you and also has written permission from your parent then yes, that person can sign for you to get pierced given you provide the necessary documentation.
What forms of payment do you accept?
UPDATE: Due to COVID-19 we are not accepting cash until further notice. Card transactions only.
We accept cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Can you pierce me with something clear, so I can hide my piercing during the healing period?
Unfortunately no. If you are required to take out your jewelry during the healing period due to work, school or sports, we advise to wait until a later time when it better fits your lifestyle to allow for successful healing.
Does Metro carry my favorite brand of body jewelry?
We are continually working towards bringing a larger selection of high quality jewelry to our customers. Currently we carry stock from companies such as Anatometal, Neometal, Industrial Strength, BVLA, Kaos Softwear, Diablo Organics, Glasswear Studios, Sleeping Goddess, and more. If you are looking for a specific piece of jewelry, you can bring in or email us a photo and we would be happy to order it for you!
Is Metro wheelchair accessible?
Yes! We are happy to have a ramp available for clients in wheelchairs and scooters looking to get pierced.
How old do I have to be to get pierced?

Do you take appointments?
All piercing services are performed by appointment only. Please schedule under the tab "Appointments" above.
Can I get pierced while pregnant?
We do not pierce anyone who is pregnant. Your system is already under incredible amounts of stress from dramatic changes that leave both you and your baby susceptible to increased risks of infection, allergic reaction, and/or rejection, and the last thing we want to do is add to any potential pregnancy complications.
When can I go swimming with my piercing?
We suggest waiting until your piercings are fully healed before submerging them in bodies of water such as lakes, rivers, oceans, pools, hot tubs, and even your bathtub (showers are of course recommended for your own health and cleanliness). Bacteria in untreated waters, such as lakes, leave your piercings susceptible to irritation and/or infection. Treated waters, such as in pools, contain chemicals that are extremely harsh and can irritate a healing piercing. If you love your piercing, keep it clean and dry!
Can I have my friend take pictures/video?
While we understand this is an exciting moment, we kindly ask no videoing in our piercing room. Photos are ok with piercer's consent as long as they do not interfere with the process.
